Following is a list of three executives who have been honored for their work in orthopedics this year:

Daniel Pontecorvo, CEO of Camber Spine, has earned a spot in the finals of Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 Greater Philadelphia Award. Mr. Pontecorvo co-founded the spine device manufacturer in 2010 after a successful career as an orthopedic device sales executive. Winners of the award will be announced in October.

In August, Birmingham, Ala.-based Southlake Orthopaedics Sports Medicine & Spine Center's Haley Bishop was named the winner of the "emerging" category at the Birmingham Business Journal's 2020 CFO Awards. Ms. Bishop fended off competition from three other nominees to clinch the award.

George Hernandez of Memphis-based Campbell Clinic was named Inside Memphis Business 'CEO of the Year' in February. Mr. Hernandez will retire from the practice Jan. 1, 2021, after 10 years as CEO. Under his leadership, he increased gross revenue from $159 million in 2010 to $304 million in 2019.
