Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital has appointed Todd Ritzman, MD, chair of the department of orthopedic surgery, Tribune Chronicle reported Aug. 17.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Ritzman also serves as director of the hospital's spine program.
2. He completed an orthopedic residency at Cleveland Clinic and a pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis fellowship at San Diego Children's Hospital.
3. Dr. Ritzman is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Orthopedic Association.
