Medical investment company AngelMD recently recruited orthopedic surgeon Mark Froimson, MD, as executive director of clinician engagement, News Anyway reports.
Dr. Froimson will be responsible for developing the clinical constituencies that make up the AngelMD community.
He will oversee the launch of the company's mobile app and connect physicians and entrepreneurs to identify potential innovations in the healthcare field.
Dr. Froimson previously served as president of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and as CEO of Euclid (Ohio) Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic.
