9 orthopedic surgeons on the move in April

Here are nine orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians who joined new practices or received new appointments in April.

Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles appointed Neal ElAttrache, MD, to its board of directors.

C. Lowry Barnes, MD, was appointed president of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Edward Vanek, DO, was appointed medical adviser to the mayor of Atwater, Calif.

Hot Springs, Ark.-based National Park Medical Center hired Edward Rhomberg, MD.

Aenor Sawyer, MD, was appointed medical director for a University of California San Francisco project that will test the entire town of Bolinas, Calif., for COVID-19.

Richard Scott, MD, is overseeing operations at the Atlantic City (N.J.) Convention Center, which was turned into a field hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Memorial Medical Center onboarded Scott Nodzo, MD, Kathleen Keely Boyle, MD, and Benjamin Levy, MD.
