Orthopedic surgeon Elvis Francois, MD, recently launched his first EP, with all proceeds being donated to healthcare workers on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Post-Bulletin reports.

The four-song EP, 'Music Is Medicine,' is raising funding for the Center of Disaster Philanthropy COVID-19 Response Fund. It is available on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon.

In March, Dr. Francois and his colleague William Robinson, MD, went viral on social media with a rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine."

Dr. Francois is a chief resident at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, where he is expected to complete his residency program in two months.
