Here are nine orthopedic surgeons making headlines this week:

James Andrews, MD, of The Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., suspended nonurgent and nonemergent procedures to comply with an executive order from Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health physician Cory Edgar, MD, PhD, was arrested after he intentionally coughed on other hospital employees.

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed Tommy John surgery on Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale.

Elvis Francois, MD, and William Robinson, MD, chief residents in the orthopedic department of Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, were featured on Elton John's iHeart Living Room Concert for America after posting a video last week that went viral on social media.
