Here are seven orthopedic surgeons making headlines this week:

Nonprofit company Nth Dimensions appointed Bonnie Mason, MD, senior advisor on its board of directors. Letitia Bradford, MD, former chief of orthopedic surgery at Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, Calif., assumed the position of executive director.

Timothy Kremchek, MD, of Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, removed loose cartilage in the right shoulder of Cincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suárez.

Lionel Gottschalk, MD, joined the orthopedic staff at Centura Health-Siena Medical Clinic in Garden City, Kan.

Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta hired Ronald Baker, MD, who specializes in knee and shoulder surgery. He has a particular interest in foot and ankle surgery and sports medicine.

Thomas Dwyer, MD, president and CEO of Premier Orthopaedic Associates in Vineland, N.J., will be recognized at the 11th annual Cumberland County (N.J.) Legends event March 8 for his contributions to the community.
