9 orthopedic surgeons on the move in January

Here are nine orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians who joined new practices or received new appointments in the past month:

Lionel Gottschalk, MD, joined the orthopedic staff at Centura Health-Siena Medical Clinic in Garden City, Kan.

Podiatric surgeon Dan Robinson, DPM, was sworn in as a member of the Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Healthcare board of directors.

ValueHealth on Jan. 28 appointed William Hozack, MD, of Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, as medical director.

Azalea Orthopedics in Tyler, Texas, recently added Gary Goodfried, MD, to its practice.

Glendive (Mont.) Medical Center onboarded Mark Rangitsch, MD, its second orthopedic surgeon.

Southeastern Orthopedics in Lumberton, N.C., added physician assistant Abby Gaskell to its staff.

Foot and ankle surgeon Aaron Ruter, DPM, was elected as a teaching faculty member for the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.

Orthopedic surgeon Marvin Kym, MD, joined St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer appointed Bryan Little, MD, to the Michigan Board of Medicine and the Michigan Task Force on Physician's Assistants.
