Foot and ankle surgeon Aaron Ruter, DPM, was recently elected as a teaching faculty member for The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, reports The Times of Northwest Indiana.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Ruter specializes in foot and ankle trauma, diabetic nerve care and total ankle replacement at Chesterton, Ind.-based Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute.
2. He will teach for the association, help surgeons improve their skills and advance the level of extremity care.
3. Dr. Ruter was also named a fellow and elected to the board of the AENS.
