UAMS names Dr. Thomas Frazier chair in hand and upper extremity surgery

Orthopedic surgeon Thomas Frazier, MD, was appointed chair in hand and upper extremity surgery Dec. 19 at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock, reports The Cabin.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Frazier is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and microsurgery.

2. He focuses on joint replacement and arthroscopy as well as minimally invasive surgery techniques.

3. Dr. Frazier is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, among other professional organizations.
