Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Hagen wins Franciscan Health award

Robert Hagen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Lafayette (Ind.) Orthopedic Clinic of Unity Healthcare has won the spring 2019 Franciscan Health Healing Hands Award.

The Healing Hands Award is presented to physicians on the Franciscan Health medical staff twice a year.

Dr. Hagen is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. And completed his residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

Dr. Hagen's nomination commented: "In addition to being a terrific physician, Dr. Hagen is also an active community volunteer through his involvement in a number of philanthropic activities. One recent example is Dr. Hagen serving as the chair for the 2017 United Way fundraising campaign in Tippecanoe County."
