Morton Hospital in Taunton, Mass., and Steward Medical Group in Brockton, Mass., have added Matthew M. Werger, MD, to their orthopedic surgery team, reports The Taunton Gazette.
Dr. Werger specializes in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery and his areas of special interest include anterior hip replacement, full and partial knee replacement, computer-assisted joint replacement, robot-assisted joint replacement, hip and knee arthroscopy and trauma/fracture care.
He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, N.J., and his fellowship in adult reconstructive hip and knee surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.
