Michelle Moyer, MD, joined Orthopaedic Associates of Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the Daily Freeman reports.

1. Dr. Moyer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery.
2. She has authored and co-authored several abstract publications on orthopedic surgery topics.
3. Dr. Moyer received two U.S. Army Achievement Medals and two Army Commendation medals from her service as an orthopedic surgeon for the 47th Combat Support Hospital station in Al Asad, Iraq.
