Non-surgical orthopedic company goes public — 4 insights

Non-surgical orthopedic treatment clinic manager IMAC Holdings was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange Feb. 13, the Nashville Post reports.

What you should know:

1. IMAC runs six medical clinics in Tennessee through a partnership with Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University and current Red Sox pitcher David Price. It also runs four physical therapy practices in Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee.

2. The company has aggressive expansion plans in store with practices planned for Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

3. The company expects to raise $4.4 million if its initial public offering sells as expected.

4. IMAC plans to sell 850,000 in common shares.
