Denis Nam, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago.
Dr. Nam is also affiliated with Munster, Ind.-based Great Lakes Surgical Suites, where he serves as medical director.
With expertise in hip and knee reconstruction and replacement, Dr. Nam's additional specialties include minimally invasive surgery and mini-posterior and anterior approach total hip arthroplasty.
Dr. Nam has a special research interest in computer-navigated total joint arthroplasty and unicondylar knee replacement. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and five book chapters.
He is a member of The Knee Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
After earning his medical degree from Chicago-based Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Nam completed his residency and adult reconstruction and joint replacement fellowship training at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
