MaineHealth welcomes Drs. Nicholas Colacchio & Ross Feller: 4 notes

Portland-based MaineHealth welcomed orthopedic surgeons Ross Feller, MD, and Nicholas Colacchio, MD, according to the Portland Press Herald.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Feller's specialties include arthroscopy, extensor tendon repair, fracture care and microvascular surgery.

2. Dr. Feller earned his medical degree, completed his residency and underwent orthopedic trauma fellowship training at Providence, R.I.-based Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He then underwent additional fellowship training in hand surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

3. Dr. Colacchio specializes in adult joint construction.

4. After earning his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, Dr. Colacchio completed his residency at Boston-based Tufts Medical Center and adult joint reconstruction fellowship training at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.
