Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Corey Kendall of OrthoIndy

Corey Kendall, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis.

Dr. Kendall is also affiliated with Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health and OrthoIndy Hospital West in Brownsburg, Ind.

With expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Kendall also specializes in knee and shoulder surgery, arthroscopic surgery, partial and total knee replacement and articular cartilage reconstruction.

Dr. Kendall previously served as an associate team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Thrashers. He is actively involved in research and has published articles in the Journal of Hand Surgery and Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

After earning his medical degree from Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Kendall completed his residency at Greenville (S.C.) Hospital System University Medical Center and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville. He then underwent fellowship training in sports medicine and cartilage reconstruction at Atlanta Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
