Here are nine orthopedic surgeons making headlines.

Anchorage (Alaska) Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic hand and wrist surgeon Leslie Dean, MD, retired June 1 after 23 years of practice.

Bernard Stulberg, MD, became the first U.S. orthopedic surgeon to perform total knee replacement surgery with the new ExactechGPS RTKA Application and Truliant Knee System Instrumentation at the St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland.

Westchester County, N.Y., officials agreed to pay $3.25 million to settle a lawsuit over the death of orthopedic surgeon Robert Small, MD.
