Dr. J. Eric Gordon performs 1st surgery using new OrthoPediatrics nailing platform: 3 things to know

Pediatric orthopedic surgeon J. Eric Gordon, MD, performed the first surgery with OrthoPediatrics' Pediatric Nailing Platform|FEMUR in St. Louis.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Gordon is the original designer of OrthoPediatrics' PediNail and served as a designing surgeon for the PNP|FEMUR system.

2. The system features two separate child and adolescent implant offerings designed for pediatric-specific anatomy, and it is accompanied by a suite of new high precision instrumentation.

3. The system, which has been in development for 18 months, is designed to address trauma and to correct deformity. It represents the next step of OrthoPediatrics' Intramedullary Nailing franchise.
