Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Mark Pagnano of the Mayo Clinic

Mark Pagnano, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.

The recipient of The Hip Society's 2017 Aufranc and Stinchfield awards, Dr. Pagnano chairs the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' Adult Reconstruction Knee Instructional Course Committee.

Dr. Pagnano also serves as the Mayo Clinic's deputy director of the Center for Regenerative Medicine, Medical Industry Relations Center co-chair and Conflict of Interest Review Board chair.

Dr. Pagnano earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and interned at the Rochester-based Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency. Dr. Pagnano was a knee reconstruction fellow at the New York City-based Insall-Scott-Kelly Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
