Here are eight orthopedic surgeons making headlines.

The Professional Football Athletics Trainer Society presented  orthopedic surgeon Walter Lowe, MD, with the 2018 Jerry "Hawk" Rhea Award.

 

Jason Tani, MD, joined North Hawaii Health & Wellness Orthopedic Clinic at the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea.

 

The U.S. Department of Defense honored Lewis Zirkle, MD, with the Medal for Distinguished Public Service.
