Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Gregory DiFelice of the Hospital of Special Surgery

Gregory DiFelice, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. DiFelice is creator and director of the Division of Sports Medicine and Joint Reconstruction Surgery for the North Bronx Healthcare Network, as well as an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Albert

Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

 

An accomplished athlete himself, Dr. DiFelice spent five years working with the New York City-based Ranawat Orthopaedic Center at Lenox Hill Hospital.

 

Dr. DiFelice received his undergraduate education at Princeton University and then went on to graduate from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital for Special

Surgery in New York City and underwent fellowship training in sports medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
