Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute physicians provided free foot and ankle care to area homeless.

1. OrthoCarolina partnered with Hearts to Soles and Soles4Souls to provide feet exams and new footwear to men of the Men's Shelter of Charlotte.
2. Foot and ankle specialists diagnosed and treated foot and ankle conditions to patients at no cost and recommended follow up visits if necessary.
3. OrthoCarolina started working with Hearts to Soles in 2007. The group provides underserved people across the U.S. with shoes and free feet examinations.
