Hartford HealthCare opens new orthopedic institute: 3 takeaways

Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare opened a new orthopedic institute at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden, Conn., according to WTNH News.

Here are three takeaways:


1. Hartford HealthCare and MidState Medical Center are partnering with Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists to staff the institute.


2. The newly renovated institute features 11 operating rooms and 21 private rooms for patients.


3. The upgraded features and amenities are designed for the institute to feel like a hotel versus a hospital.
