Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Daniel Larose of Miller Orthopedic Specialists

Daniel J. Larose, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Council Bluffs, Iowa-based Miller Orthopedic Specialists.

Dr. Larose treats sports injuries involving knees, shoulders, ligaments and tendons and cartilage repairs, as well. He performs ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder and shoulder labrum repair. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty certificate in orthopedic sports medicine and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and American College of Sports Medicine, Dr. Larose is also a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

 

After obtaining his medical degree at Montreal University in Canada, Dr. Larose completed his residency at Montreal-based Edward Samson Orthopaedic Program and underwent a sports medicine fellowship at London, Ontario-based University Hospital.
