Robert Clayburgh, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Grand Forks, N.D.-based Valley Bone & Joint Clinic. He specializes in the treatment of hand conditions.

He is as an associate clinical professor of surgery at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and previously served as the chief of staff for Altru Hospital, both in Grand Forks, N.D. He has sat on the board of councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Today, Dr. Clayburgh is a fellow of AAOS and American College of Surgeons. He holds memberships with American Society for Surgery of the Hand and Clinical Orthopaedic Society, among other professional societies.

 

Dr. Clayburgh earned his medical degree at Missouri-based Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at the Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
