Calhoun-based Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine added orthopedic surgeon Chad Smith, MD, according to Northwest Georgia News.
Here are four notes:
1. A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Smith is also a member of the American Medical Association.
2. He earned his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
3. Dr. Smith completed his orthopedic internship and residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga.
4. He underwent his sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond.
