On April 6, Little River, S.C.-based McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast's orthopedic surgeons gave McLeod Fellows presentations on the different orthopedic services the practice offers, according to My Horry News.
Here are four insights:
1. Eric Heimberger, MD, discussed McLeod Orthopaedics Seacoast's total joint replacement program.
2. Fellow orthopedic surgeon David Lukowski, MD, presented on carpal tunnel as well as hand and upper extremity surgery.
3. In his presentation, Dr. Lukowski stressed how essential rehabilitation is in the recovery process.
4. Fellows toured the McLeod Seacoast's physical therapy department as well as got a firsthand look at the MRI machine.
