Here are 12 orthopedic surgeons in the news this week.

Victor Khabie, MD, performed the first robotic-assisted knee surgery with the Navio robotic system in New York at Northern Westchester Hospital.

 

Constantine Demetracopoulos, MD, an attending orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, was in the news after the hospital received a grant from the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society to fund research on ankle arthritis treatment. Dr. Demetracopoulos is the principal investigator.
