Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Odland specializes in sports medicine, joint revision or replacement as well as shoulder, hip and knee injuries and arthritis.
2. After earning his medical degree from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Dr. Odland completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He also underwent sports medicine fellowship training at Tahoe Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
3. Dr. Odland is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
