Dr. Saltzman is the LS Peery Presidential Endowed Professor and chairman of orthopedics at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah. He focuses on ankle arthritis, sports injuries of the leg, ankle and foot as well as tendon, ligament, cartilage or bone conditions of the feet. He is a past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
