Noblesville-based Indiana Orthopedic Institute has completed its first joint replacement surgery in its newly opened flagship facility.
The new facility secured Medicare enrollment just one week earlier, according to a June 24 LinkedIn post.
The inaugural case was a total hip replacement performed on a 70-year-old primary care physician from South Bend, Ind.
The IOI flagship center was built as an ASC focused on hip and knee replacement and upper extremity procedures.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
