Professional Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, a portfolio company of Great Point Partners, acquired Bi-County Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, Flynn Physical Therapy and S.M.A.R.T. Physical Therapy, according to PE Hub.

Here are four facts on the companies.

 

1.  Professional Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy added six locations in the Long Island and Queens area in New York with the recent acquisitions. The company now has 64 facilities throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

 

2. The company has completed eleven acquisitions since the Great Point Partner’s investment in October 2011.

 

3. Professional Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy has completed six tuck-in acquisitions so far in 2015.

 

4. Great Point Partners is a healthcare investment firm with approximately $800 million of equity capital. The company is making new privacy equity firms under GPP II, which closed on $215 million.
