Roper St. Francis buys Lowbountry clinics — 5 quick notes

Roper St. Francis in Charleston, S.C., and Illinois-based ATI Physical Therapy have partnered to purchase a Lowcountry physical therapy practice, according to the Charleston Regional Business Journal.

Here are five quick notes:

 

1. The new partnership, dubbed Roper St. Francis Physical Therapy powered by ATI, acquired Rehabilitation Centers of Charleston.

 

2. Rehabilitation Centers of Charleston is an eight-clinic outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy practice.

 

3. Roper St. Francis will continue offering rehabilitation services at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Roper Hospital and Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital.

 

4. The new partnership expects to open seven additional locations in the region during the next few months.

 

5. ATI Physical Therapy in Bollingbrook, Ill., has more than 500 locations in the country and employs about 200 athletic trainers for professional, collegiate, high school and club teams.
