1. The board’s surgeons include:

 

  • Jason L. Koh, MD, chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Ill.
  • Michael A. Terry, MD, associate professor at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and head team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks and U.S. Olympic volleyball team
  • Gregory L. Primus, MD, orthopedic surgeon and founder of the Chicago Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery

 

Dr. Koh will serve as chairman of the clinical advisory board.

 

2. The orthopedic clinical advisory board’s duties include:

 

  • Leading on design and evaluation of various best-practice surgical procedures
  • Continuing to architect HealthEngine’s methodology for assessing and presenting clinical quality metrics that enable patients and their physicians to make more informed decisions
  • Focusing on galvanizing engagement among their physician colleagues nationally to drive forward new and innovative value-based healthcare initiatives
