Dr. Jeffrey Klauser receives ‘Physician of the Year’ award — 5 highlights

Derby, Conn.-based Griffin Hospital honored Jeffrey Klauser, MD, as the “Physician of the Year,” according to the Shelton-Derby Dispatch.

1. The hospital’s nursing staff votes to determine the Physician of the Year award recipient.

 

2. Dr. Klauser received the award due to his kind disposition, excellent judgement and strong skill, according to to the hospital’s nursing staff.

 

3. Dr. Klauser’s clinical interests include sports medicine and shoulder, knee and hip arthroscopic surgery.

 

4. He is a member of Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists.

 

5. Dr. Klauser earned his medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center. He underwent a sports medicine fellowship at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
