Dr. Blaha’s research interests include primary and revision total lower extremity joint arthroplasty, knee kinematics, total knee arthroplasty design and function, total hip arthroplasty design and function and the biomechanical basis for implant osseointegration. He is a member of various organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association and Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Blaha earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan. After completed his residency, Dr. Blaha finished his adult reconstructive arthritis surgery fellowship at the London Hospital Medical College & Bone & Joint Research Unit.
