Patient-specific knee implant technology in Grants Pass — 3 highlights

A new knee implant technology is being offered in Grants Pass, Ore., according to a News 10 report.

Here are three highlights:

 

1. The technology, called ConforMIS, is 3-D based and scans patients’ knees.

 

2. Orthopedic surgeon Bruce Perry, MD, is the only physician on the coast south of Portland offering the procedure.

 

3. Dr. Perry said patients getting a customized knee will be out of the hospital in less than two days.
