HSS, EmblemHealth reach PPO plan agreement

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has entered into a new agreement with EmblemHealth. 

With the New York City Employees PPO health plan set to go live Jan. 1, the agreement will allow eligible employees to receive care at HSS, according to a Dec. 10 news release from HSS. 

The NYCE PPO Plan was negotiated by the City of New York and the Municipal Labor Committee. 

Emblem Health is a nonprofit insurer with a focus on value-based care, the release said.
