Preva Health and HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wis., have added the Rosa robotic system for knee replacements.

The robot allows orthopedic surgeons to increase precision and flexibility during surgery to reduce complications, recovery time and revision rates, according to a Nov. 19 news release from HSHS.

The organizations are the first in the Sheboygan region to provide knee replacement procedures with the Rosa system.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
