How orthopedic surgery starting salary range changed over 6 years

The average orthopedic surgeon starting salaries ranged from $500,000 on the low end and $815,000 on the higher end in 2023/2024, according to AMN Healthcare’s 2024 Review of Physician and Advanced Practitioner Recruiting Incentives.
