OrthoVentions’ management plans to identify technologies developed by HSS surgeons, according to a Feb. 27 company news release. Chosen technologies will be funded and structured as standalone subsidiaries of OrthoVentions.

“One of the central pillars contributing to the exemplary reputation of HSS is its commitment to driving innovation in healthcare,” Jagi Gill, founder and managing director of OrthoVentions said in the release. “We are excited to be partnering with the surgeons at HSS to leverage their unique technologies and couple them with financial and operational resources experienced in bringing products to market. Our dedicated fund offers a unique opportunity to fund breakthrough early-stage medical innovation.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
