Hospital for Special Surgery Florida appoints regional vice president

West Palm Beach-based Hospital for Special Surgery Florida named Heather Woolf, RN, as vice president for its Palm Beach County facilities.

Ms. Woolf will step into the role on March 18, according to a Feb. 21 news release. She has 25 years of experience in healthcare and previously held leadership roles at healthcare groups in Stuart, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Fla. She was also COO for a physician network in Florida and South Carolina. 

Ms. Woolf will work closely with HSS Florida CEO Tara McCoy and co-medical directors Nicholas Sama, MD, and Ryan Simovitch, MD.
