Hospital for Special Surgery Florida accepts $2M gift, adds 2 surgeons

West Palm Beach-based Hospital for Special Surgery Florida received a $2 million contribution from HSS Trustee, Marina Kellen French, and her daughter Annabelle Garrett of Wellington, according to a news release shared with South Florida Hospital News.

The gift will strengthen HSS Florida’s trauma department and endow a trauma directorship. 

HSS Florida also added two physicians — spine surgeon Zachary Grabel, MD, and upper extremity surgeon Matthew Butler, MD.
