Hinge Health expanded its HingeSelect platform to cover orthopedic surgery, according to a June 10 news release.
The move makes Hinge Health one of the first digital musculoskeletal vendors to manage the full care continuum. The expansion connects employer plan members to orthopedic surgeons through the HingeSelect network. after in-house specialists determine surgery is appropriate.
HingeSelect’s surgical network prices procedures at 30%–50% below standard costs, according to the company, and its digitally delivered perioperative physical therapy has been shown to reduce post-surgical complications by 21%.
Hinge Health’s network has more than 4,100 locations and has cut imaging and surgery utilization by more than 60% compared to commercial benchmarks.
