Oklahoma City-based OneCore Health received multiple five-star ratings from Healthgrades for outpatient care, including rotator cuff repair and back and neck surgery.

Healthgrades, which evaluates hospitals based on patient outcomes such as complication and mortality rates, recognized OneCore Health among the nation’s top performers in these outpatient specialties. The 2026 analysis covered data from 2022 to 2024 among U.S. hospitals providing orthopedic procedures in outpatient settings, according to an Oct. 28 news release shared with Becker’s.

Hospitals earning five-star ratings for outpatient procedures saw significantly fewer complications compared to those without the recognition, according to the release.

The organization estimates that if all hospitals performed at the same level, more than 36,000 complications could have been avoided over the three-year span.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
