Hartford HealthCare unveils plans for bone & joint institute: 5 points

Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare plans for its new bone and joint center have been unveiled, according to Healthcare Design Magazine.

Here five points:

 

1. The institute includes a five-story, 150,000-square foot inpatient hospital linked to an 86,000-square-foot ambulatory center.

 

2. The hospital will include 10 operating rooms and up to 60 beds.

 
3. It will also feature diagnostics and imaging facilities as well as a wellness/rehabilitation center.

 

4. The ambulatory building will house five ambulatory surgery suites and physician offices for orthopedics, neurosciences and rheumatology.

 

5. The institute is slated to be completed by October 2016.
