Gulf Coast Orthopedics, an affiliate of Houma, La.-based Terrebonne General Health System, has added Barton Wax, MD.
Dr. Wax is an orthopedic surgeon and specializes in hand surgery as well as treating hand, wrist and elbow conditions, according to a Sept. 8 news release from the health system.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Louisiana Orthopedic Association and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
In addition to the orthopedic practice, Dr. Wax will provide care at Terrebonne General, the release said.
