Addison, Texas-based FX Shoulder Solutions secured FDA 510(k) clearance for its next-generation stemless shoulder arthroplasty implants.
The FX V135 Easytech Shoulder System has a modular construct that integrates a stemless anchor base with an anatomic stem adaptation, according to a May 5 news release from the company.
Surgeons can begin procedures with a stemless approach and transition intraoperatively to a short stem without the need to add another system.
The anatomic and reverse configurations are 135 degrees and the reverse configuration allows for a 145 degree option. The system includes five different anchor base sizes, the release said.
