An orthopedic surgeon and former CEO of Cleveland Clinic Canada, Dr. Copeland will expand practice management and clinical operations at Jack Nathan Health and drive new operational revenue.
Jack Nathan Health has built clinics at 76 Walmart locations in Canada and six in Mexico, according to a Dec. 14 news release. The company plans to open 50 more clinics through Walmart Mexico.
Dr. Copeland also serves as medical director for Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group and the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League.
He will have a 20 percent stake in Jack Nathan Functional Health Inc., a newly formed subsidiary that leads corporate-run clinical operations.
